Our Vision

To see humanity and other creation live in a sustainable and conducive planet.

Our Mission

To advocate for a sustainable planet through empowerment and collective action for an eco-friendly environment.

Our Core Values

  • Accountability: We are committed to transparency and taking responsibility for our actions and the resources entrusted to us.

  • Creativity: We embrace innovative thinking and new solutions to tackle complex environmental and climate challenges.

  • Diversity: We champion inclusivity, recognizing that diverse perspectives are essential for holistic and effective solutions.

  • Intentionality: Every project, partnership, and communication is executed with clear purpose and focus on maximizing environmental impact.

We are an organization fundamentally guided by our core values of Accountability, ensuring transparency and responsibility for resources; Creativity, embracing innovative thinking for new environmental and climate solutions; Diversity, championing inclusivity as essential for holistic solutions; and Intentionality, executing every project and communication with clear purpose to maximize environmental impact. We are structured strategically to meet our three key objectives: to develop the capacity of individuals to live in harmony with nature, to advocate for the creation and effective implementation of more eco-friendly policies, and to research and implement effective local and sustainable solutions to climate challenges. To achieve these goals, we are organized into thematic departments guided by a Board of Directors made up of seasoned experts who provide strategic oversight. We are driven by the Project Management Department (PRODEP), which handles the full cycle of our action-based projects; the Resource Mobilization Department (RMD), a team of resilient youth volunteers ensuring we have the necessary resources; and the Communication Department (COMDEP), whose passion-driven communicators are integral to all activities, ensuring effective advocacy and visibility.

The Ideal Planet (TIP) is a passionate, non-profit, youth-led environmental organization rooted in Cameroon. We were founded in 2023 and officially legalized in 2025 by two dedicated visionaries: Mathias Akoa Tah and Yufonyuy Princely Nsadzenyuy.

Our creation was driven by the urgent need to address the pressing environmental challenges facing our communities and the planet. From our base in Bamenda, Northwest Region of Cameroon, we mobilize collective action, scientific research, and powerful advocacy to ensure a healthier future for all.

To proactively and efficiently respond to climate actions, our management is organized into thematic departments and guided by seasoned experts.
